As we shared with the men, women, and children, the presence of the Lord was so tangible that we could not stop crying. It was very powerful.

Our friend, Devin, is part of the team that helps addicts in this college town. Lisa shared a message with about twenty of the amazing men and women there who are hoping for their victory over addiction. Participation was excellent and almost all of them received the good news that God loves them and has a wonderful plan for their lives.

Thanks to a generous donation by a friend, our book is in the hands of recovering addicts in two rehab centers in Mexico. Lisa has the privilege of leading the women of one of the rehabs in a weekly online Bible study using the book to emphasize important Biblical themes.
Lisa Loves to Share the Gospel
Whether one-on-one or with a group, Lisa has the gift of evangelism. She has preached the Good News in many churches, in both English and Spanish. Sunday services, women's ministry, retreats, and missions groups are just a few of the ways Lisa tells the world that sin separates us from a holy God, but in His great love for us, He sent His only Son, Jesus, to take our place on the cross. As the perfect, sinless, unblemished Lamb of God, His shed blood made atonement for our sin, and then He proved He was the Messiah by rising from the dead. His Holy Spirit is our guarantee and seal of eternal life from the moment we receive God's free gift of salvation and are born again.
The Classy and Sassy Bible Study Group
For two years, Lisa has been teaching an in-depth Bible Study. The ladies get sassy with God by asking Him the hard questions and diving into His word for the answers. After going verse by verse through Hebrews, we are now beginning a study of Romans.

Charlton was at the keyboards and Lisa was in the front row. We had arrived with just a minute to spare and didn't get to greet the men in recovery. As soon as the worship started and their strong voices belted out the truth of Jesus being the Way Maker, we both wept and wept. The men were hungry and the presence of the Lord was strong.
